    Christmas Vacation was the best. European was terrible. And I never bothered watching vegas Vacation.

    But Christmas is becoming a modern classic, just like A Christmas Story.

    I think Christmas edges out the original by hair. Both are great.

    Euro was decent -- and it featured Beverly D'Angelo's boobs -- and Vegas was terrible. Vegas had some funny moments, but overall, it stunk.

    Perhaps the greatest line in all four? "SHITTER'S FULL!"

    The original is tops for me. So many great scenes and great lines. Several that have become staples that get used over and over amongst our family.

    The thing with European is the actors who played the kids were complete nimrod dorks (and to be quite honest, they weren't in better in Xmas, but there were other supporting characters to fall back on) who had zero comedic abilities or effect. If they could have kept the original Russ and Audrey, I think it would have helped that movie immensely.
