An update: In an essay running in Time this week, she apparently delivers several thoughts on her media stance, including "a small number of 'sick days' per year, where you are excused from your press commitments without having to disclose your personal reasons."

I covered pro tennis, the abuse that went on involving children is horrifying. That said Osaka still managed the intestinal fortitude in her climb to the top only to bail on the media now that she has the hammer.
