Is your cat a sports writer?

Get a second opinion, the no-grooming thing is worrisome. I wrote about our late cat when Shotglass' died, but I don't feel like crying today, so I'll skip it. The furry little beasts really can get to you.

One of my cats is at least 15 years old and last December he stopped grooming himself and stopped eating. After two days of that, I took him to the vet and they said he had a blood disease spread by fleas. He gave me some little pills and some vitamin paste. Couple of days after that, he was good as new (well, as much as a 15-year-old kitty can be).

I had my first cat for 21 years, and the not grooming is usually a very bad sign.

I'd get a second opinion ASAP.

I love it when people use "OT" on the Anything Goes board

Did your vet do X-rays or sonogram to check for tumors? Just by feel, they're easy to miss.

I couldn't see her picture at work Poin. She's adorable.

Do whatever is best for the cat.

    Please, think of the kitten.

    *I can't believe that took 6.5 hours*

My cat's breath smells like cat food.

My younger cat had some problems with her gums last summer and we never knew it. We took her to the vet for something totally unrelated. When he lifted up her gums I wanted to yak.

We gave her some antibiotics and she was as good as new.

On a sad note, I've only had one cat live that long (the healthy, tough-as-nails little bastard that's on my lap now). Every one but one got hit by a car well before their time. Other one we put down because of urinary tract problems.

Note the drool spot on the couch under her.

Awwwwright ... No. 1 - tell your cat to lay off the weed. He looks pretty "mellow" in that second pic.
