    Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter?

Shouldn't Gregory Lee have the courtesy to use either his given name, or his stage name, rather than some amalgamation of the two, that he never uses?

Pretty standard stylebook for stage names.

What does "knowing" you have to do with anything?

I understand the word is offensive. Mushnick understands the word is offensive. That's the point.

And, if it is so offensive, why does Jay-Z use it, along with "bitches" and "hoes", and the imagery of a 9mm in his songs? And, if it's so offensive, why are the Nets so excited to be associated with Jay-Z, and why are they willing to turn their team's branding over to him? Why is he designing their logo and uniforms?

If using niggas is appropriate to sell music, why not sell a basketball team the same way?

Another guy who thinks African-Americans couldn't possibly contain themselves when confronted with something upsetting, or offensive?

    What is this all about?

    What would happen Drip?

Jay Z's money is as good and as purely earned as Pat Boone's. Nets have every right to have him as an owner.

Sure they do. Just as Rush Limbaugh had every "right" to be part of an ownership group of the Rams.

It doesn't mean the team, the league, or the majority owner should want to be associated with him.

And, there was no indication the Rams ownership group would have handed over the team's branding to Rush, if they had purchased the team.

Zay-Z, isn't just a 1.5% owner. He's in charge of the branding. They're thrilled to be associated with him:

Jay Z uses off-color language in the services of characters in songs. Should the dozens of modern authors who freely use off-color language in their works be disqualified from owning a team?

Rush Limbaugh did not use off-color language. He is a bundle of political dynamite that no league would want to be anywhere near, much the way a league would want to be nowhere near Al Sharpton.

So as disingenuous as hell as any apples-oranges comparison has ever been here, and a desperate bid to lick Limbaugh's taint once more. Then again, I think you knew that.

If that's all Jay-Z was, dools, he wouldn't be in the position he's in. TAITYKT.

Hey, I at least took the effort to spell out the clause.

I don't know what would happen. Just do what I've asked you to do and report how it works out. I'm a betting man and I'm willing to bet the reception you'll receive will be one that you'll remember.
