Oddly enough, I called Sam and wicked by their real names, and you by 'sxy' most I think. I guess that was because it was fun being in public and yelling 'Hey, sxy' and having you turn around and people wonder what the hell was going on.

    Crazy Canadians.

A few of my coworkers, and one or two formers, know who I am on here...but it doesn't matter too much since I'm a very minor cog.

Isn't too big of deal for me if folks here know who I am.

Not at all. He meant "Castle System," which is where everyone tries to get as far away from George Castle as they can.

    Goodnight, Chicago!

Of the nine people in my last two jobs who paid any sort of attention to this site, five guessed who I was accurately, two asked and pretty much confirmed what they already thought, one had absolutely no clue and one guessed very, very wrong.
So no, I'm not really on the anonymous side.

Shutty. It's not my fault you go to bed early now.
Do you go to early bird dinners, too?

I guess there will have to be a lot of excitable conversation in Dallas, so as to pronounce the exclamation point.

    Mr Womack,

Go easy on the guy about typing "castle system." I think he has Turret's Syndrome.

    YHS, etc

what he said. I really don't care if anyone knows who I am. And while I understand the anonymity, I do think that some people here wouldn't be such assholes if we really knew who they were. Not that anyone really cares what I think, but I've stopped visiting as much because there's too many attacks for my taste. When I started visiting a lot (just reading, not posting), probably about two years ago, it didn't seem that way.

And yet, people tell me they want less moderating because they long for "the good old days." Maybe it's me, but I'm thinking there would be more attacks if we had less moderating right now.

There was less moderating in the "good old days" but there were fewer assholes too.

    Just my $.02.

I had a guy at my last shop go completely ape shit on me cause he thought I was making fun of him on SportsJournalists.com. It was almost comical.
Thankfully I was able to quit three weeks later. If the asshole was that bad in the FIRST week, no way I would have survived months there.
