I think Jones should just sit quiet and take the suspension.
If I was commish, I'd make the suspension 10 games if,and only if, it comes out that Jones had nothing to do with all of that stuff.

  2. No way this sticks for Pacman. My money is on a reduction to an eight-game suspension.

Didn't you get the memo? Steroids only matter if you play baseball.

I think this will stick. Goodell has been talking with the union about this all along. This cannot be a surprise to the union one bit. And as someone else mentioned, hard to defend the thug.

    Guess I missed that story.

I'd like to know how, in this day and age, Pacman was able to keep the NFL from hearing about two arrests.

Dammit, Mike, you'd made only one teen-related post in your past 8. Why go back to that stupid well?

I agree on this; there are far too many holes in this puppy.

I do, though, applaud Goodell for his balls and making a splash.

Good for the NFL. They know how valuable the mammoth reputation and positive PR they have developed over the years as the country's premier sport, and they're going to protect that reputation at all costs. And when yahoos like Pacman go running around causing embarrassment for the league and threatening the 'franchise', well, Pacman, you're welcome to go play somewhere else. But not here.
