    I would, but all I've got is the weird vegan lunchmeat. I'm pretty sure Ragu is the only guy here who'd even remotely consider eating that stuff.

    A long time ago, there was a GREAT NFL pbp announcer named Ray Scott. He was the NFL's "national guy" before there were so many "national games".

    Sorry, hit the wrong button there...

    Ray Scott was great because he did games in an understated and conversational way. NO shrieking; NO catch-phrases. He did not get in the way of the game.

    Pam Ward is not "Ray Scott reincarnated". But her pbp is reminiscent of Scott's. I really like watching games with Pam Ward at the mic...

    Watch the last five minutes of Pitt-Cincinnati from a few weeks ago and see if you have the same opinion. When UC went ahead on their last touchdown, McDonough went nuts.

    I think I made a comment at the time that it was the first time it seemed McDonough actually didn't sound like he was heading to the airport in the third quarter.
