Dyepack is Dyepack. JDV is JDV. Rokski is Rokski. I have no idea who Indian is, but others know him, and he makes good points on this issue. I have no idea of his record in other threads. On this thread, his insight greatly surpasses those of many others, IMO.

Yeah, that was funny & misleading.

Notice that Mark's card was from 1984 & the other pic was from that Paul Riser show in what 2000?

Gee I would hope he got a bit bigger in 16 years!!

Mark is 6'5'' and came in the league at 225 & was still filling out his frame/growing - stop playing games.

Anyway, I am going to bounce

Rok will tell me if I missed anything

    Thanks Indian!

To clarify my remarks to jcmag:

Some of John's conclusions may be opinions. I don't know because I haven't watched/read everything. Fine, say that. That is correct, factually.

Some of what John says is fact, such as his talking with Mark and Mark's representatives about strategy. That the conversations occurred and what was discussed are facts. I hope we are clear on the difference.

As these and other things are contained in the '17 pages and x hours' of video and posts, they are subject to jgmac's false claim. He is wrong, demonstrably so.

Here's a tip, jcm: If you think this is all a bunch of crap, say that. Don't say things you don't mean and that can be easily repudiated.

Remember, JDV is a lawyer and I've done a ton of legal work myself. You're not going to out-talk or out-word the legal guys. Don't waste your time. Contracts are legally binding documents designed to get over things on people they aren't aware of are being gotten over on them. It's a little different than writing a non-legally-binding sports column; there's a bit more at stake with the contracts.

If you insist on being a smart-aleck, I'd advise you to stick to the simple stuff, rather than sweeping generalizations. You'll fare better, IMO. You're already 0 for 1.

    So you know. ;)

Every time I look at this thread, I wonder what ever became of Stefanie and her Wonderbat.

No problem, I always like to clear up misconceptions. I want to make it clear to everyone here that I am not supporting drug use or even saying that it is right. I am also saying that we should think more deeply on this subject and be less judgmental and understand that these baseball players are just people who have unbelievable god given talent that even if they have used PED are still more skill then 98% of America.

Poll: Which is the more annoying tag line?

JDV's "whatever, whatever" or RokSki's "So you know?"

No, no. I'm mocking jcmag's smart-alecky tagline. Trust me, that's not mine. :)

Here's the thing. Since we're now comparing your brother to one of the immutable laws of the universe, there's evidence for the Law of Gravity.

We've been presented no evidence that your brother even knows Mark McGwire.

    Lawyers know about evidence, right?

Peeps, I'm out. I've got to get back to work for real. Back later. Ragu, Out of Place, IJAG, etc. thanks for the discussion. Honestly.

Indian - I don't care what you do, you are cool with me. On this subject, you know much more than many. Keep up the good work.

Alright thanks. I am out of here for the night myself. Thanks for the good info. The truth is going to come out I just hope that people are ready to handle it because this runs much deeper then the average person realizes.

Good Lord, how shall we make it through the night without the Three Stooges? Hey, Indian, Rok, and JDV, just want to thank you for announcing your departure. We're all the lesser for it, I'm sure.

Very educational thread, this has turned out to be.
