    Man, what a time to end up with insomnia. I needed to waste my time doing something useless and this fit the bill.
    I don't if anyone clicked on the link posted on one of the last two pages (http://www.g4tv.com/techtvvault/features/2388/Team_GTV__John.html) but there's one item you might find of interest in it.

    John is a firm believer that everything you need to learn about life can be learned from comic books. "Comic books give you the right perspective on life," says John, "you learn that anything is possible in life with hard work, big dreams, and a bite from a radioactive spider."]/i]

    These last 22 pages leave me wondering one thing: Where's J-Dub when you really need a big ole pimp hand to slap a few people stupid?

    As I posted on the "Turning down a romp in the hay" thread, this thread has taken only a few days to reach 22 pages and that one took two months.

    This could be like McGwire chasing Maris, whatever. Would that make post-padding a performance enhancer?

    The good news is that if Doc sees this, it could be worth another fantastic wheaties box.

    I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything Red's man can't do. He trains superior athletes. He beats computer geeks at their own game. His scoops will catapult the career of a lucky journalist or two. He lives by Spidey's code. He makes t-shirts that are fuckin' sweet. He plows Raiderettes. He wins national titles and does it while drawing the ire of Diablo's barbell.

    Frankly, we're all wallowing in his crapulence. Or is it tarpulance? Whatever.

    Doc, on the next Wheaties box please include "Epsom Salt Bath Taker."

    Apologies - but what do SG and MCA stand for?

    Also, I wasn't about to wade through all those videos, so what was the big scoop? Was it that he got you to waste all that time for "look at me! look at me!" videos?

    SG = special guest

    MCA = A reference to the dude in the ski cap who looks like MCA from the Beastie Boys. He has nothing to do with JDV, but MCA's videos were suggested by YouTube since both were about Mark McGwire.

    I think JDV has managed to clog the tubes of all the internets with this thread. Wow. And now I'm just jumpin on 22 pages in to pad my posts.

    Even after merely skimming this thread, I feel like I've woken up inside the Matrix.

    Of all the crazy threads in the history of SportsJournalists.com, this one may have just drafted into the lead.

    Ok, I'll admit I haven't watched the videos. Can somebody who has please tell is if there is anything in them that could properly be called a scoop?

    JDV, In the immortal words of Inigo Montoya, "You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
