Would you mind if I forwarded your thoughts onto a friend of mine who is certified and trains elite athletes as well? Would just like his perspective on the subject ...

JDV is very qualified and you should not questions his knowledge of lifting for increasing strength and endurance for sports. Only people who have seriously trained for sports know what he is talking about. If you are a geek and never played sports you wouldn't have a clue as to what he is talking about. I truly believe what he is saying about his training. It wouldn't be fair for him to give away his training methods just to prove you wrong.

So, the 'scoop' is that a fan/workout partner/fitness guru thinks McGwire belongs in the Hall of Fame?

    that's the 'scoop,' right?

I love how just because JDV and idiotsnetwork say something is true it suddenly becomes true. I also love how all of us sportsjournalists are geeks and have never played sports and so we can't have any idea what JDV is talking about.

Have you seriously trained or played sports before?

Ok, I just saw something and HAD to come back on here and post.

Check out this awesome article on ESPN.com by Stark

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/hof07/columns/story?columnist=stark_jayson&id=2724114&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1

To anyone following my threads or who watched my videos these arguments seem REAL REAL REAL familiar don't they?

You know what that is great bc all I wanted to do was help Sport J's get the story right.

Thus, if I have had ANY impact on this debate and helped advance this story and the truth & then it has ALL been worth it & I am proud of that.

Moreover, if Jason (& or whoever helps him) came up with all of that without my help - EVEN BETTER! People are finally figuring some things out about this issue and getting real, great!

Anyway, yeah I feel real good about that & more than a bit vindicated.

    Way to go Jason!!

    Flash,

I saw your request - hold off on that & let me think about it. On the one hand I have nothing to hide at all.

On the other hand that business is competitive and to some extent that is like me asking to hand over your notes on a good story to a good friend of mine who is also a sports journalist to review and comment on.

Kind of same thing. I hope you understand and respect that.

    Thanks again,

    John

Indiansnetwork, are you trying to suck off JDV or fistfuck me? You can't be serious ... I'm supposed to take somebody at their word, just because they posted a whole bunch of pomp and circumstance on a message board.
You would likely be surprised to hear how many people on this board have trained for high level sports. Until you step outside the water treatment plant and understand how things work in the real world, please ... fuck off.

Okay, I broke down and watched thirty seconds of the last installment.

    I have three questions:

    1) Do you have Tourette's? Your fast-twitch muscle fiber seems somewhat willy-nilly. If you watch with the sound off, you sort of resemble Grover from Sesame Street.

    2) Why are you so angry?

    3) Why should Flash or anyone here 'hold off' or require your permission to investigate or research your claims here? If you don't want this stuff out there, keep it to yourself.

You do realize this is a PUBLIC message board, right? And her friend could read it without her asking your permission, whatever.

Hardly the same thing, JDV. I'm merely verifying your opinion. You're out in the public and saying how great an expert you are. You shouldn't mind me attempting to solidify that. If you're as confident as you say you are, you shouldn't be concerned with my buddy's response.
