    Don't even start IJAG

    1.) You have slammed me

2.) You (I am almost sure) and others have cited SG and his pulled thread as "States evidence 1" that I was a "fraud"

3.) You do major research with SG - yet ask me nothing other directly other than attacks on this message board. Huh, I wonder why you did that when SG had NO INFO ABOUT MARK? Was it to get the story on Mark, to get the truth, or just to slam me? I wonder.

4.) Then you act like you never attacked me when you PM'd my brother about what a clown and fraud I was.

5.) Now that you know I am real and have NOTHING but good stuff on me you can't lady up and admit YOU WERE WRONG

A real strong person would apologize simple as that.

Again, a cacophony of crickets to those that called me a fraud and owe me an apology

But hey that is on you not me.

I may have some flaws but I am always honest and can take responsibility and apologize when wrong.

    To Gingerbread,

Fine as to Tim Brown - don't need to mention him & like him a lot - but watch yourself & don't call me a liar as to conversation I was a part of & you were NOT.

    Just a friendly reminder.

    1. It's IJAG. If you could read, you would know the order in which the letters should go.

    2. I don't remember ever calling you a 'fraud.' I don't use that word usually.

    3. I never said I did "major research" with SG. I said I have conversed with him about this, asking him questions about his relationship with you and his time using you as his trainer. I never asked him anything about Mark McGwire because that wasn't my interest. I had read your side of your relationship with him, and felt I needed to get his side before making a judgment call. THAT is how it works in journalism.

    4. I asked you direct questions that you refused to answer because I had "slammed you." You can deny that all you want to, but the proof's on this thread.

    5. My only "slams" of you have been that you are self-aggrandizing (admitted to by your brother), that you don't know what scoops are (admitted by your brother that you probably didn't use the word properly) and that you are long-winded while saying nothing. I asked you specifically for a layman's terms description of your titles. As you pointed out earlier, I'm the only one on this site who admitted to watching your title videos. Rather than listening to you blather on and take only your side, which is what you seem to think journalism is, I spoke to other sources.

And no, I'm not ready to say I'm wrong. You ARE self-aggrandizing, you DON'T know what "scoops" are and you have yet to say a single thing of importance on this thread. Until any of that changes, I will apologize for none of my views.

Oh, and I DID send you a PM, probably 2 days ago. RokSki said you got it, but just missed it. That you weren't ignoring me.

Well, I'm still waiting for a response. At least SG responded to his PM.

Rokski, with all due respect, what I posted is not crap and I stand by what I said.

My post had to do with what has been posted on the board. I know g-ddamn well I have no idea what's been flying in PMs. That should be a given. And if you re-read my post, you'll see I admitted as much. I am also well aware that this thread was locked by Moddy for a time.

I've been around this board for a couple years now and what's been posted on line on this thread has been pretty tame compared to what I've seen on this board in the past. I'm sure that many members who have been here for some time can collaborate my view.

Could it be that it's your brother involved be coloring your viewpoint? I know it would if it were my brother.

Speaking of whom, he didn't have a problem with what I posted. ::)

Sorry, I just don't believe Tim would ever ask if an interview subject had "a company to promote or a way for people to reach me that he could put at the bottom of the column or something."
The LA Times doesn't put such info at the bottom of columns. TJ Simers might mention charity info, but that's about it.
Maybe you didn't correctly phrase your conversation with Tim?

    Nice.

I left this thread to go to a school board meeting and when I came back, it was five pages longer, whatever.

Well, John, after ESPN stole that "black mark" pun from you, they realized there were pearls--pearls!--just waiting to be lifted from you. So they've been monitoring you 24 hours a day (Make sure you pull down the shades when you take a shit).

Jayson Stark pulled the midnight to 5 a.m. shift, because, heck, let's be honest, he's not the most talented guy at the WWL. In fact, being the simple-minded, ill-informed dolt that he is (i.e. -- a sports journalist), he was all set to vote against McGwire. Until yesterday, that is. After watching 100 minutes of your concise and persuasive arguments on YouTube, and reading 300,000 words of never-before-discussed facts that only an expert could bring to bear, he finally understood. Sirens rang. A bright light shone down from the heavens. And even though he knew everyone would see through the column and exclaim, "These arguments seem REAL REAL REAL familiar! Those are John D. Villereal's scoops," he risked ridicule and wrote it anyhow.
