John, not wanting to bug you, but you never answered about the Tourettes. There's a lot of help available for this.

This thread has 6300 looks because you click on it every 12 seconds.

As for credentials and experience, those of us who have spent a couple of decades around professional athletes know that for every one sports celeb, there are two dozen appendages like you, in the gym, the garage, the shoe store, the restaurant, the nightclub, etc, just waiting for their fifteen minutes to start. Enjoy yours. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Can somebody tell me why this dirtbag's bullshit thread has grown to 30 pages?
If you all had ignored the dumb fuck a few days ago, maybe he would have crawled back under his rock by now.

Spnited, you know by now that nothing unifies this board more than a common doofus. Catharsis after all the SJ Awards angst and vitriol.

That's a true story. Notice the lack of bitching between regular members on other threads. It's wonderfully calm when there is a common purpose against a troll.

21, you mentioned this earlier...but where does JDV rank in the pantheon of SportsJournalists.com doofi?

That, and some of it is pretty damn funny.

The crux of JDV's argument (I think, there's a lot to wade through here. I wonder how many posts JDV would have if he actually had time), is he knows McGwire didn't do steroids because he trained him and all the "evidence" to the contrary is circumstantial.

As a lawyer, JDV, you should know many criminals are convicted on circumstantial evidence.

To point: Look at Mark McGwire's body in 1987. Then look, oh, say 5 years later. That's more than weight-lifting bulk. And what's with the sudden body acne? And the Andro? And the breaking down at the end of his career? And the lousy testimony in Congress?

Sorry, it all adds up - either to "guilty" or "enough circumstance to not put him in the Hall of Fame."

I think if John D. Villarreal goes away (we can only hope) he'll still win the 2007 troll of the year. I wasn't here when bandwagon_boy was, but for some reason, I see John D. Villarreal have pho~real or bandwagon_boy status in never being forgotten.

Listen Ragu, all of your "drama" and "jokes" aside, the folks at ESPN know the score. Jayson Stark has seen the car I drive, whatever. He knows that I'm a three-time Mensa champ, whatever. And that's all natural, no ginseng or anything, whatever. Listen, I'm willing to concede that Stark thinks he came up with that column on his own. But my ex is a producer at ESPN's biggest show, whatever. And she's been sneaking into Stark's home and playing the audio from my YouTube scoops under his pillow while he sleeps, whatever. And that's very logical and plausible. Ask Tim B, whatever. Everyone sees the "coincidences" here but you. So quit wasting your time with snarky replies, whatever.

    You are flat wrong, again.

    You read Stark's column here:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/hof07/columns/story?columnist=stark_jayson&id=2724114&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1

Then go and look at my videos (even just 5-10) - which you ADMIT you did not watch, so you don't know what the HELL you are talking about!!

Then look at my posts on this subject in these threads (no NOT yours or the funny pics) AND the poll up top and what do you see in compared to Stark's column???

Answer - a TOOOONNNN of overlap!!

    + "Black Mark" incident

How plausible is it that he or someone he knows read & or watched my stuff when many at ESPN KNOW I am credible?"

    Answer - VERY

Oh and "super J's" & wanna-be lawyers here - little evidence help.

When Stark voted or the voting closed has NOTHING to do with the contents of his column TODAY clowns, nothing!!

He may have had all this in his head before, he may have written this column a month ago, he may have never watched or looked at anything I did.

Yet, eerily all of these columns, headlines, & comments start popping up echoing my thoughts & arguments from respected national J's and I know more are coming.

Is it plausible that they saw some of my stuff as it directly relates and yes I HAVE expertise on training, MLB drug & supplement usage, elite sports, Mark, and the law?

    HELL YES!!!

Either way, my arguments seem to be winning the day and it looks like people are going to change their mind on this issue. So, maybe next year this could affect the vote &/or coverage (or in future years).

This also proves that my arguments & insights HAVE SERIOUS credibility - just as I have proven I have credibility. There is no where to go.

Many of you lost a good chance for great columns before the vote is announced and possible inside/exclusive stuff that I could have helped you with & that is YOUR OWN FAULTS - not mine!!

I have tried & tried & tried & tried. What else can I do??

I am PERFECTLY happy with the results of ESPN's coverage (Simmons, Stark, SC, etc.) and Jayson's column. My interests (truth & Mark) have been served and those columns/broadcasts are going to be WIDELY seen and read.

Moreover, as time goes on those that were part of the witch hunt in sports are going to look VERY unknowledgeable with damaged credibility.

If I had a small part of that - great!

Either way I had the balls to stand up and be counted and try on this important issue.

Again, great job Jayson & ESPN!!

    John

Oh yeah 21 - ps - I have my OWN name, $, and fame without Mark or this story - believe that. If you think this is the last you will hear from me you are SOOO wrong.
