Shouldn't we get participation medals for at least finishing this thread?

Up to page 13 and I may have hit the wall.

I need some, well, special supplements or something.

  3. By now, you may be the most zoned-out Canuck since Neil in "The Last Waltz."

Thanks IJAG - at least one of my critics (hopefully former) has figured this out and is willing to admit it. This should be insanely obvious by now.

What is even funnier is some reporters here that think that Mark, who has chosen to talk to no reporters (that I know of) for years is somehow going to "break his silence" to address SportsJournalists.coms pressing Q's on John D. Villarreal - lol.

You know what I REALLY hope he does as that would make me very important indeed (along with relevant and credible (but I have already established those elements quite clearly).

However, being that I am squarely in reality, I doubt that will happen.

Feel free to try though - should be a great additional waste of your time instead of working with me and others on this story & the bigger story as it relates to sports in general.

You think that scares me 21 & Flash...oooo....I....am....trembling - lol. HA, I welcome it! Again, I KNOW where this road ends - I have the proof.

Moreover 21 & Flash, are you saying that the AP, USA today, ESPN, Tim Brown, Etc. are NOT credible and did not vett me with Big Mac (and/or his people (who talked to him)) when I talked to them prior to the congressional testimony!!???

Because that is EXACTLY what you are saying. You are basically calling them clowns and saying they don't know how to do their job. I am sure that will score you big points with your collegues.

    Brilliant!

I can tell you conclusively I was checked out quite thouroughly.

Moreover, anyone that has covered Big Mac (or even baseball closely) already knew who I was.

Seriously, keeping up this charade this "hope & prayer" that I am not real makes you look so desperate and delusional.

Bluffing and making little threats on it at this point - well that is something else beyond sanity.

You can call me names off all types - but liar is not one of them.

Hey thanks for reading & watching. If you are short on time go look at videos 6-10 I believe. That is where a lot of the action is at.

He's lying. There's no action there, or anywhere. He kind of sounds like a teacher in Peanuts, and makes as much sense. But there is still the high comedy of a man trying to establish credibility while wearing a t-shirt with his name on it.

Actually, JDV admits in his videos that he wasn't with McGwire 24/7, and thus couldn't say definitively that MM never used steroids. At that point, the whole production seemed like a waste and I wasn't going to watch any more, but I did go back and watch parts 9 and 10 because I was curious to hear what JDV would say about the Congressional testimony.

He did admit it was a disaster, but basically explains it away as "McGwire didn't know what he was getting into and hired the wrong lawyers." That's about the extent of it. All opinion, no scoop.

So the Cliff's notes version of the whole Burns-length video epic is...

"Although I can't say for sure because I wasn't with him 24/7, the regimen I trained Mark with is capable of building the muscle mass he gained without steroids. As for the Congressional testimony, he didn't understand its impact and followed bad advice."
