I gotta load up on a couple of Big Macs, SuperSized Fries and a couple of 32 oz Cokes.

Then I'll be ready to hit numbers 6-10.

Hey, you done any work with hockey players? I'm thinking, maybe one of the Ducks?

Cranberry - hey thanks. I appreciate that & I am indeed sincere. You could be right on your thoughts. Who knows hindsight is 20/20.

Moreover, I can assure you that I am pretty smart, smarter than most give me credit for (although you could be right about your media comment - who knows) and....hmm how should I say this, I always have a reason for the things I do.

Meaning that I came on here to present good info & a primer for Sport's J's to help Big Mac and Sport's J's cover this issue.

I was met with fierce resistance (to my credibility, expertise, relationship with Mark - STILL ongoing, etc.) and outright derision. All I wanted to do was get some good info out.

When it became clear this is how some posters here treated their guests trying to help them - look I rode the wave & cranked it up (working with the force not against it - I studied Aikido), but mind you I never lie - just a style thing.

Meaning I don't mind negative attention on me to bring more attention to this subject - because it really needs it. Not just stake outs and scandal mongering but real study - real analysis.

One way or another these threads HAVE been seen and people have been educated at least a little & thought twice about this subject, and in that way I accomplished what I came here to do.

I want nothing but good things for Mark and to take drugs out of sports if that is even REMOTELY possible. In order to do that we all have to be real and get to work.

As it is now here is what you have media chases scandal = politicians & leagues crack down (at least in show for PR) = athletes don't talk about what is really going on (but still use in increasing numbers, dosages & degrees) & doctors, universities, & pharma companies won't do health & safety studies due to regs & negative stigma = few in media really know anything close to what is going on = they crank out stories/books about the top guys using crazy drugs but only cover superficial salacious details (some of which may be true and some may not (depending on the source of course)) = message is sent to be great and make $ in sports you need to take drugs (as no serious info and effect & dangers (beyond hyped up scare stories that are almost ALL untrue...psst ever wonder why almost all those old time bodybuilders are still alive & those guys hit it hard) & use in athletics is presented) = kids and athletes take more drugs in order to try to make it big = things get worse not better.

    & that is the truth.

Sorry, JR, but the best it can do when it comes to the ranking of anal threads is, well, No. 2.

    Hey JR,

Assuming you are asking a real question and not making a joke (could be either). Here is a real answer.

Not that I can remember right off hand - but maybe. I think a while ago I was (& perhaps did) going to work with some of the SJ Sharks & maybe a Red Wing.

I somehow remember something like that but nothing concrete comes to mind. It could be that they ordered products from my old company and maybe I wrote up a workout program for them to do remotely - maybe something like that if anything (that would happen fairly often).

But no I never focused on Hockey. Although, that certainly would be a good area for me. Something I should look into now that the league is rolling again.

Good catch, Zeke. It was, of course, on purpose.

But yours topped it. :) Nice work.

Well, there are a lot of us here who PERSONALLY know hockey players, so we could, like, help you out making contacts.

I know one of our favourite posters, Friend of the Friendless, knows practically EVERYONE in the NHL.

You could probably help out Rod Brind'Amour over in Carolina. He's a real work-out freak.

Never thought of comparing athletes taking steroids to stealing food from stores during Katrina.

    Interesting.

Could someone please assist JDV with the definition of sarcasm ... particularly before IJAG sees his latest post in her direction? And then if you wouldn't mind throwing the dictionary in his general direction ... maybe his head would be a good target.
    Thank you.
