Note to JDV: You are the one posting the silliest stuff, you arrogant, delusional, foolish, pathetic excuse of a human.
If you didn't get on page 1 that you were way over your head here, you're the stupid one.

So who won the haiku contest?

Well, at least he bounced with one thing that made sense. The Wheaties boxes, Haikus, etc. made it easy to skip a lot of stuff on this thread. It's unbelievable how people can waste their time here.

    See ya, John.

I think there's a lot of truth to this one, given that even the beauty of the art form can't begin to encompass the greatness this man is.

But, I gotta give my love to Red, who is just golden.
Because I think his haiku sums up the thread quite nicely.

I just went to click on one of the videos to explain this stuff to someone. And all of the videos with the special guest were taken down from YouTube. Did I somehow miss that being posted here?

Well, some of it is explained on page 31, in a post by a guy named goinyayowithshow, who claimed to be that 'special guest.'

This is making me think we need either an index or a TOC for this particular thread.

  7. "Look, everyone knows I'm all about integrity, whatever. And that Special Guest was just some dumb kid, whatever, using my fame and training knowledge to get to the MLB, whatever. The kid just showed up unannounced and asked to be in my video, whatever, so I let him bask in my warming glow. Then the little punk comes on here and starts spreading lies, whatever. I don't need to provide my credentials, whatever, everyone knows that I'm a world-famous lifter and trained Mark McGwire for a long time. But even a guy with my intelligence and infinite patience, whatever, can only take so much whining. It got to the point where Special Guest, who I could totally reveal more information about, but I won't because I'm all about integrity, whatever, was calling me three or four times per day and cockblocking me when I was trying to hook up with Raiderettes. So in my infinite wisdom and compassion, whatever, I took them down."

Yeah, I'm gonna have to call bullshit. The only thing that has been proven is that you are actually a lawyer. And somebody else did that for you.

Are my haikus like my 15 minutes of fame then? Whatever ...

    John,

I notice you and your 174 IQ still haven't mastered one important fact. The vote was over before you ever posted on this board. This has gone on, what, four days? Maybe five? The votes were in Dec. 31, as has been posted on here more than once.

It's not embarassing that you didn't know that. You're not a sportsjournalist and you probably had no reason to know it. But your ego will not allow you to admit a mistake, so you ignore it and prattle on.

Perhaps that is why nobody on here will bother to apologize or admit an error in judgement against you. You refuse to admit your own. Well, that and for the most part people on here don't apologize much. Except RokSki. I give him credit, because he is always willing to admit it if he is proven wrong. Maybe you should try to learn a thing or two from your brother.

Holy bat poop! I take a few days to move into my new house, and I find that I'm 42 pages behind on what promises to be a great thread. If I had two hours to kill, I'd read through it all now, but I'm on my fourth Dr. Pepper and the assistant manager here at Denny's seems to be getting riled as he sifts through a stack of papers and drinks his coffee while noting just how much more training one of his employees is going to require. What's he teaching her to do? Split the atom? In any case, the cable people better be there in the morning.

Could someone provide a general summary. I would be so grateful. And, if there are any particularly humorous or outlandish parts, please direct me to those.

All you need to remember is whatever. Whatever.

Seriously, you need to read the whole thing, whatever.
