    One of the sports talk hosts I listen to on the regular is a golf nerd and usually does a dive into it after the majors. So even though I don't closely follow golf, I'm at least acquainted with the notion that Patrick Reed has a reputation as a cheater and an asshole.

    He and his wife wouldn't let her parents see their grandchild when they were at the Masters, and they live a few minutes from Augusta.

    And had them thrown out of Pinehurst while he played in a U.S. Open there. Stole from his teammates in college. Improved his lie in a bunker (seen close-up on TV). He's a real sweetie.

    To steal a line from Bob Verdi, "You could call this a knee-jerk reaction, but everyone knows Mr. Reed is not a knee."

    He has perfected 60 percent of "class." The rear part of it.

    It's almost like he's trying the SPC Playbook. Sue to stir the pot. However low one thinks another can go, it's not low enough.

    I'm in golf media and not named in a Patrick Reed lawsuit. I feel like I've been left out of the cool kids' table.

    And yeah, the guy's a hot mess. Yet found a lawyer who's even nuttier than he is.
