    After reading those, Reed reminds me a LOT of Trevor Bauer, right down to the "none of the other kids liked him" anecdotes.

    When I was covering majors, I used to like to ask the old-timers if an up-and-coming player reminded them of anyone. For example, Spieth reminded guys of Hogan, Rory of Snead, etc.

    When Patrick Reed was closing out the 2018 Masters, I asked one of the writers who had been around for decades if Reed reminded him of anyone.

    "Yeah," he said. "A fat asshole."

    What the hell. Reed can't sue him now. It was Jenkins.
