    I think they're waiting for the one-year anniversary of his departure.

    (We've had two interim SEs in the meantime. It's a rare night that I don't see e-mails addressed to at least three different editors.)

    Torpey will do a good job. Sadly, he has like four full-timers and some very talented co-ops, and considering the circulation, it's ridiculous.
