    There is precedent for this too. See 1925 championship. Pottsville Maroons. Although Pottsville has been trying for decades for the NFL to give their title back.

    A lot of it had to do with the fact the Fox's clock and score strip was freaking out. A lot of that was bad data from the scoreboard, but it's amazing how people take that as official.
