I seem to be in the vast, vast minority on this one but Vs. is definitely my favorite PJ album. The worst? Riot Act by a large magin. Binaural was underappreciated.

  2. I rank em:

    Yield
    Vitalogy
    No Code
    Riot Act
    Ten
    Vs.
    Binaural

hearin' em live, however, it goes:
    Vitalogy
    Ten
    Vs.
    Binaural
    Yield
    Riot Act
    No Code

  3. Of course, the top 6 albums could change order on any given day.

  4. I think Yield is the best rock cd in the last 15 years. Since soundgarden, anyway.

  5. No Code is a fabulous album. almost inclined to listen to it more, but yield from start to finish more of just that great rock record. the only anthem on Yield IMO is GIven to Fly which is more of a ripoff of Zeppelin than anything. I guess I can hear Who in it. Eddie does love to blow Petey boy.

I almost think Vitalogy has better overall 'anthems' than Yield or at least more famous ones with Corduroy and Better Man.

Fuck it, it's all in the interpretation. We're both right. :)

No offense, but are you on crack?
The Foo Fighters are fine, but they're Wings and Nirvana were The Beatles.

Man, ranking PJ albums. I don't know if I can do it. There's so much I like from each album. There's not a bad one in the bunch, in my opinion. Just levels of goodness.

But I can give it a try

    1) Ten, which in my heart I know isn't the best but I used to play this all the fucking time in high school and college, so it's gotta be No. 1.
    2) Yield
    3) Vitalogy
    4) Vs.
    5) No Code
    6) Binaural
    7) Riot Act

Oh, and being stuck here in Oklahoma where there isn't a concert announced near me yet, I have one thing to say to all of you buying up tickets. I hate you all. Completely.
