Tyler if you liked the RS cut-and-paste, you'll enjoy the extended article available on the web site. It lets Vedder go off on a variety of topics. Also includes an old RS article from just before Versus came out by Cameron Crowe ... great perspective ... a key segment features Vedder riling himself up to record Rearviewmirror.

Agree. I had to go up north to see a show, but it was totally worth it.

Thanks for the tip. I vividly remember the Cameron Crowe article...it was damn good.

Also Eddie made a great opening crack.

"Hello, Cincinnati. Pittsburgh is our third favorite city."

Implying Seattle and Chicago come first. Drew some boos but I found it hilarious being non-partisan.

Just a bump to remind fans that PJ is on Storytellers tonight ...

I enjoyed the show -- and some of the band's insights -- but it's hard to go from Eddie singing a folk song ripping our goverment and big business to a Taco Bell commercial.

Anyone know if VH1 will release a DVD of the show?

Yeah, the long commercials broke the vibe.

But there's part of me that's still 15 and in love with Eddie Vedder... it was a great show.

i saw them at the fourm last night in los angles. great show, even though it was a greatest hits show for the most part the energy was great. the pre-set was an accoustic version of porch. the crowd was really into it, lots of people banging on the seats in the loge level, the old yellow seats, made it feel like a playoff game at the old chicago stadium. But I'm not picky about anything at a Pearl Jam show except for sitting next to drunken fratboys.

    Ditto.

LOVED Baba O'Reilly (The Who was the last band I saw at The Forum on their Quadrophenia tour a few years back).

the fourm is probably the only arena without any advertising or skyboxes, which is kind of cool although the neighborhood sucks around it.
