Huh? Didn't you hear Dr. Fedora last week? Talk of links between football and brain disease is premature. You can't trust these studies. Any study can say whatever you want it to say based on how you want to spin and manipulate the data.
He was backed up by the brilliant Dr. Schlereth, who told us that he knows the human brain is resilient and can withstand some of the trauma it endures.
America's future depends on the survival of football. Come on. Stand up for football . If you don't, you don't love America.

I don't think the concern over brain injuries in football is going away so easily. I think it is more likely something truly awful will happen, such as a player with a brain injury doing something terrible during a game or in view of the public or an active player will die from a brain injury.

Well there was that football player who murdered two people and killed himself due to CTE.

True, but nobody knew anything about the CTE until well after he was sent to jail.

An autopsy also showed signs of CTE in Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher, who shot his girlfriend to death, then committed suicide in the team parking lot.

I was thinking of some horrible act of violence on the field or caught on video, or a player dying on the field due to a brain injury. It already nearly happened once. Merril Hoge's heart actually stopped in the Bears' locker room after he took a blow to the head before a concussion had healed properly, but the medical personnel were able to resuscitate him.

Imagine if one of the HOFers calls for the elimination of football during their induction speech. Would they cut the mike?

Yes. And Fox News would screech.
