I don't think it's blind loyalty in my case. I don't blindly believe that one interpretation of the facts that I've proposed. I just want it out there as an alternative. I'm truly 50/50 on whether it's that way or that Paterno directed the cover-up. Waiting for new information to come forth.

What is the most absurd, unbelievable part of the events as I proposed them? Which part makes you so sure it couldn't have happened that way?

Does anyone know if there are still any young children legally under Sandusky's care?

Nobody said it was "totally" understandable. I believe Rick and Dick did admit they probably wouldn't have jumped in physically but, unlike McQueary, would've called the cops immediately. Hence, they weren't saying they would've done the same thing.

It's fine by me if you want to criticize other people's posts, but you should do it without misrepresenting their words. Trying to understand McQueary's conduct doesn't mean you condone it. Everybody here agrees he did wrong.

Most recent news was he was barred from even visiting with his three grandkids. Man, imagine having to explain to those kids why they can't see pap-pap anymore.

Another contender for the Nonprofiles in Courage: Sandusky's wife.

Ever wonder why Jerry's down in the basement for an hour at bedtime with the sleepover kid?

    They "couldn't have kids".

Yeah, because Jerry wasn't interested in having sex with her.

    McQueary placed on administrative leave.

At what point will not be the most valuable witness?

Does anyone know if they are doing something for the victims before, during or after this game? I have heard about the Blue out and the armband but wondered if the school is doing anything else.

Maybe it will be seen as too disingenuous and is better left alone.

As I have said before, the actual playing of the game to me is the easy part for the Penn State players. I've got to think being in the locker room, the facilities and thinking about all of this would be the hardest part.

    Good.

I do feel for the guy, in some way. I do.

    But he failed. Miserably.

And, attributing his absence tomorrow only to the "threats" against him was a cop out. It was up to PSU to say he was not allowed to be on the sidelines or in the booth.

I wonder what Scott Paterno's master's thesis at Villanova will be on? Anyone willing to speculate on a good academic title? Here's his Politico bio: http://www.politico.com/arena/bio/scott_paterno.html
