Gerald J. Williams, a partner at a Philadelphia law firm, said Pennsylvania law is broad in protecting a person who reports wrongdoing, as long as that person is part of a governmental or quasi-governmental institution, such as Penn State.

Asked if McQueary was protected by whistleblower status, trustee Boyd Wolff said Friday after a board meeting, "He's a witness. He's different from the others, so he has to be treated differently."

Also, from the same AP story, there's this:
Described in court papers as distraught about witnessing the 2002 attack, separate newspaper accounts from the time indicate McQueary appeared in the months and years that followed in charity events that Sandusky also took part in, or were to benefit Sandusky's group The Second Mile.

I'm convinced they all had chips inserted in their brains by aliens, and that's why and how everyone could pretend nothing had happened for nine freakin' years. The more I think about McQueary's father, a YOUTH SPORTS COACH, and all he knew -- unless he didn't believe his son -- the angrier I get.
And I didn't think it was possible to get any more angry.
(Also, yes, Yankee Fan, the Fox network in NYC led with Madden's report about children being pimped out. They played Madden's radio interview ... and millions of viewers probably skimmed over the "rumors" part and assumed it was truth.)

Okay, I'm terribly sorry, I forgot the blue font. I took it to the extreme. He utterly failed as a human being. The only saving grace is that he was on record doing something so that the cover up can be exposed.

ESPN crawl just said McQueary told players "I'm done as a coach."

He's done and in protective custody, but still being paid by PSU.

So is pretty much everybody on the staff -- depending on what comes out in regards to how widely known Sandusky's activities really were.

And the players said, "Yeah, we already figured that one out."

At this point, who's getting paid or not is being determined by lawyers. For that matter, an attorney might end up coaching the Wisconsin game.

The more I read about McQueary's behavior AFTER the rape, the angrier I get.

How does he stand to be in his own skin?

That's where I am, too. As much as I can see not reporting it initially because it is so, so confusing and shocking, I just can't see squelching it either. And then that part about how he kept working with Second Mile ... there's a screw loose there.

He should be sentenced to live in a house with 1,000 mirrors.

Or continuing to go to charity events for the Second Mile foundation. Bunch of Stepford Wives.

This what I asked about earlier.

They didn't even ostracize the guy. They continued to hold him out as an outstanding citizen.

    I don't get it.
