You're normally a reasoned poster, but this take is beyond stupid. Are you currently attending Penn State?

It didn't bother him. I think it was a suggestion.

And what's your point if he was?

Could have been a pass interference call on Nebraska. Penn State fans ironically furious that officials would act like they didn't see something.

Actually it doesn't bother me at all. I think this is one of the best threads this board has ever produced.

I also think its funny to watch people trying to out moral outrage each other and demand actions be taken that do nothing to punish the perpetrator or help the victims.

And I find it disappointing to see people act as if fixing such a systemic problem is as simple as "make the bad people go away."

And no, I've never attended Penn State.

I"m also not watching the game.

There are plenty of other games to pick from. So again, if offends you so much, find another fucking game.

Wonder which is more appropriately known as a "Sandusky": A personal foul, or a holding penalty?

    I wouldn't worry, Rick.

In an effort to mark the solemness of the occasion, the two teams have agreed not to score.

Last time I checked that was the whole point of the criminal justice system. Make the bad guys go away.

And what systemic problem are you talking about?

Didn't you hear? The victims have been healed by the moment of (almost) silence.

I know you're not a Penn State student or affiliated it with the school; it was just my way of saying you're coming off like a insensitive 19-year-old moron whose love of The Game trumps sense and decency.

Certainly. But the criminal justice system isn't the only institution at work here.

The one where a small number of people got so much power and were so focused on the success of the football program that they allowed this to happen.
