They wore blue instead of white. You don't get much more sacrifice than that.

And when I hear about Penn State football, I think of child rapists and the people who enabled them.

That's your cross to bear, man. It's been about much more than that.

It's actually the program's cross to bear. Because it's going to be associated with this for a long time.

Yes, they've already taken the attendance hit, I see.

    It's the whole university's cross.

Were I a student there, I would look into transferring.

Well, they couldn't miss Joe Paterno Child Rapist Enabler Celebration Day. It's a chance to heal, you know.

And my point is it would not be done out of a sense of remorse. It would be done out of a sense of limiting the damage.

You want to show contrition? Then you announce today that, in addition to whatever legal settlement is reached, Penn State University will pay the full cost of a college education for every single Sandusky victim at whatever school those kids choose to attend.

That's contrition that makes a difference.

Wow. That exact attitude proves the point Rick has been making. And you're someone who on this thread I didn't think had his head buried in the sand completely. Imagine then the message the complete fans are getting today.
