I know we're not supposed to talk Xs and Os on this thread, but how would postponing this game be fair to Nebraska?

If you're a Division I football program, you have a contract to play a game. You can't just call up the other school like they're a blind date and say "Uh, it's been a bad week. Can we reschedule?"

You play, or you forfeit. Not saying either is the correct choice, but those are the choices.

Kid who threw the pass, Drake, was a state champion HS QB.

    (Whoops. :))

Makes sense. He looked like a QB being able to throw across his body.

They can't, now that there's a conference championship game.

If you're for playing this game because you feel it provides a nice distraction to all of the controversy that's swirled this week and also helps begin some healing, I'm okay with that.

If you're for playing this game this weekend because, "Hey Goddamit, this is WHAT WE DO on Saturdays in the fall!!! You can't take that away!!!" well, I'm totally sorry for you.

NEB needs to go for it. Get the clock moving.

Is Nebraska's kicker good enough to have made it from that distance? If so, dumb call.
