That's what qualifies as "squeaky clean" these days?

Not sure I'm following Dick* (I've had some wine) ... what's Baylor been up to since the scandal?

*Originally typed DW ... didn't want you to think I was asking you (as Darrell Waltrip) whether another round of wedge was needed (and maybe some track bar)

    12-man roster versus 85-man roster.

Scott Drew's reputation is not "squeaky clean." Not close.

Really? I don't know anything about Drew (or Baylor post-2003 for that matter). Nevertheless, given the right (and reasonably obvious) moves, I'd think Penn State would be a "safe" destination in the near future.

I think the same thing when various groups call for a boycott of the Olympics to protest the flavor-of-the-day cause, be it human rights in China or Soviet troops in Afghanistan. Little to nothing changes and the only ones hurt are the athletes. If only as much effort could be put into actually fixing things instead of empty symbolic gestures.

    No.

Lots of smoke around Scott Drew, yes, but no fire. Yet. I'm sure the NCAA has released their hounds in Waco. If there is anything and they haven't found it yet, color me surprised.

I'm this guy's age and it seems like he's passing the buck for everything wrong in our country to the boomers. College students don't need an adult standing over them to know that rioting and destroying property is wrong.

I've read on SJ several times about how Scott Drew is dirty, but nobody has ever gone into any detail about his dirtyness. And I've asked for specifics. Met by silence.

Any big stories in Sunday's editions about this stuff? Post 'em, if you got 'em.
