Statement of fact that Twitter is indeed full of morons and buffoons.......

There is actually a "person" that is defending Jerry Sandusky. I wish to God that I was making this up.

The guys name is Jason Butler. @SouthernILL314 is his twitter account.
    Get his website.....sanduskywasframed.com

I heard them in the early 2000s. The problem was always verifying anything because that place was like La Cosa Nostra.

Bear Bryant WAS an abusive asshole (at least at Texas A&M and Kentucky) but to his players, so I guess that's OK.

    Yes, he was (meaning Paterno).

The more time goes by, the less doubt I have.

Yeah, something doesn't add up. It's one thing to keep it swept under the rug, but why continue to employ Sandusky? Why not fire him? Did he have dirt on Paterno beyond Paterno just knowing about what he'd done?

Ugh. As much as I curse Paterno in his grave for allowing Sandusky to continue his activities, I really don't want to believe this -- only because it means additional victims.

I think Paterno didn't care, didn't want to hear about it, but I could be convinced otherwise.

It is a ridiculous stretch to say Paterno was abusing young boys based on the evidence we have now. Ugh.It absolutely sickens me that I just wrote something that sounds like I'm defending the guy.

I won't defend him. I think he decided he didn't want to know and allowed it to happen, and bears the responsibility for years of continued abuse.

No one that I know of has come forward with such an accusation though, and at this point I can't help but believe that such a person would have broken their silence.
