That was my first thought. A bunch of these shitweasels just wanted a reason to get drunk and angry on a Tuesday.

Humans 16-25 should not be allowed in public.

From the Centre Daily Times website (11:33 p.m. ET):

The crowd was clearly rallying in support of Paterno, carrying signs that read “Remember Joe for 409,” and “JoePa is not guilty.”

After the crowd grew downtown, the students began running toward Old Main, continuing to chant and cheer for Paterno. Their numbers continued to grow, until they filled half of Old Main lawn in numbers estimated at 1,000 or more.

“I saw a stampede of people running down here and I knew it was for a good cause," said senior Bill Munro, who joined the rally at Old Main. "This is all about Joe.”

After a short demonstration at Old Main, the growing crowd began moving toward downtown again.

Sure. Why not? Roll over a couple of them with tanks too while you're at it. I mean, if you're going to turn your institution into a public relations disaster, go all the way.

I remember when IU students acted the fools after Bobby Knight was canned. Penn State students have raised the bar tonight.

I can't believe the riot crowd is only 1,000.

College Park gets five times that anytime Maryland happens to beat Duke in basketball.

Good, I'm glad it's only 1,000. That means only 1,000 morons attend PSU.

Oh, and 500 of them are probably so drunk they think they're extras in Call of Duty.
