    Can you imagine being one of the victims of Sandusky and having to watch these "protests" in State College?

    It sickens me to wonder what goes through their minds and how their plight is secondary in the face of protecting an enabler who just happened to win football games.

    Not sticking up for him by any stretch, but he's also part of a different generation. Same generation that hid abuse by Catholic priests and other abuses.

    I'm sure they're too stupid to realize that they're tarnishing their school's image even further. I anticipate even more protests when it's announced that Joe's gone.

    Clerk,

    That one didn't hit me as hard, because I wasn't a father then. My wife and I talked about this tonight. I was shaking in anger as I watched that video and looked at our son.

    But both are generally disgusting. I knew some of the ushers involved in the MLG scandal, which really made me sick. But Ballard was dead, so there wasn't a "mythic figurehead" like Paterno to go after. Also, when it really went public, the organization's damage control was nowhere near this callous. There was lawyering-up, but MLG didn't really try to defend itself.

    Sadly, the first victim to come forward later committed suicide.

    This is like rubbing salt in the wounds of the victims and their families.

    I want grab these people and shake them. It's really like they're living in an alternative reality - - where all that matters is showing support for their school's football program.

    Do any of them have children? Do any of them know children who have been victimized?

    Do any of them have a SHRED of human decency?
