Perhaps Second Mile contributing $25,000 to the current governor's election campaign might have a teensy weensy eensy bit to do with it.

The current governor who, as state AG, curiously did pretty much nothing as far as pushing any investigation of Sandusky.

Things that make you go hmmmm.

I'm sure you can find TSM contributions to multiple governors over the years.

And every sitting governor is a member of the PSU Board of Trustees.

This governor is a special case, though. The allegations languished for years under him as AG. As soon as a new AG got in there, that's when the investigation finally got real.

Gov and his staff spoonfed NYT a story about his activism and heroism in bringing this to a head and bringing down Paterno. Then Sara Ganim took a look at his contribution or lack thereof, including continued appropriations to TSM despite what he knew. That got the governor and his staff to STFU real quick.

Wow, is this odd. St. Louis talk radio asshat (Kevin Slaten) jumps all over ill-prepared Pittsburgh radio assclown (Vinnie Richichi) while staunchly defending Paterno.

Won't affect anything past this year but senior WR Justin Brown transfers to Oklahoma.

Incredible that people somehow equate Penn State's situation to past NCAA actions. It's not only apples and oranges but it's the biggest fucking Apple in creation to oranges the size of golf balls. There is no comparison to anything. Penn State broke new ground and it was cause for a new way of slapping them down.

Douchebag on douchebag crime. That St Louis talks how host sounds an awful lot like a few posters here.

    This is an interesting connection:

“I just told him that we all have our crosses to bear,’’ said Central Florida coach George O’Leary, one of O’Brien’s mentors. “You’ve got to stand tall.’’
