I know a fair amount of people who have graduated from Penn St and most of them have lived their entire adult life with Penn St as a good part of their identity that they wore with great pride.
It's now been yanked out from underneath them.

Public sentiment was strongly against McVeigh for good reason, just as it is strongly against Penn State for good reason. You really aren't helping your argument at all.

funny, isn't it? you fuck little kids in the ass and cover it up or kill innocent people, and then folks turn on you.
who would have thunk? i see how that's a difficult concept to digest for some people here.

WR recruit Will Fuller changes mind and committs to Notre Dame, even after a tweet that said he was 100% committed to Penn State.

Let them undo the deal, then, and send the NCAA back to the drawing board with the four-year death penalty as Option #1. Sounds like a win-win.

If I were in charge at Penn State, why wouldn't I want to take my punishment and move on as quickly as possible?

What good comes from fighting the sanctions for the next two years and each time something in the case happens, have everything brought back to the front page of the paper.

As it is now, if things just move on, the clock on rebuilding the program has already started and the beginning of this whole ordeal being over is well on its way.

As it is, the Trustees talk about fighting the decision and every paper has a page one story.

I'm beginning to think the people in and around Penn State University aren't that bright.
