There's being in denial and then there's this. Surely, Paterno's family and the handful of trustees filing this suit aren't stupid enough to think this is a good idea. They've just somehow convinced themselves that there's no way this can be true to the point that they're living in an alternate reality.

These people are like the Nazis who blew their brains out at the end of WWII rather than live in a non-Nazi world. They will likely never see reason.

Why would a Court even entertain such a filing?

Four Trustees isn't a majority of the Board. The Court should tell them to come back when the majority of the Board has signed on to their appeal. Otherwise, why grant them standing?

Without the full support of the Board, they're just four JoePa fanbois.

    Who's blowing their brains out?

They're like the Japanese soldiers in the jungle, still fighting the war years after.

Those Japanese didn't know what they were doing. The Penn State trustees do. They're committing program suicide.

Which is fine with me. NCAA should have given Penn State the death penalty to begin with.

Lubrano has compared the NCAA sanctions with 9/11.

Apparently he wants to go for Hiroshima.

Then they would have absolutely no hesitation to appeal and drag it out as long as possible.
