TP, I'm not going to pretend to speak for everyone at PSU, but trust me, I truly believe that the community as whole DOES give a fuck about the kids.

Every idiot trustee who thinks fighting back against the NCAA sanctions is a good idea proves otherwise.

The new football coach going on about fighting back and without anybody at the university telling him to shut the fuck up proves otherwise.

And people actually wonder why Penn State keeps getting slammed on this board. It is because idiots there still don't even get what the school did wrong and people like you keep defending them.

And TP nailed it regarding innocents being hurt. The sanctions aren't hurting the football players. They have every right to play, They can stay on scholarship and not play. They can transfer with no penalty. The only people really being hurt are the whiners who can't handle their beloved football program having to suffer actual penalties for its wrongdoing.

Penn State isn't being punished for the fact Jerry Sandusky is a child molester.

Penn State is being punished becaused the school leadership tried to hide the fact Jerruy Sandusky is a child molester.

That said, I believe the NCAA is going to eventually regret that it acted outside of its normal investigation & punishment process to hand down these sanctions.

I"m not saying PSU should not have been punished however.
