If this story has any legs at all the NCAA and its consent decree is so far down the list of things Penn State needs to worry about that you couldn't find it with a magnifying glass.

That said, if this is true and current high-level PSU administrators are fingered, it does call into question the Freeh report.

I wonder if this will have any effect on this consent decree meeting?

If the tough-talking Paterno apologists on the BOT suddenly change their minds and are content to keep quiet in the spirit of "moving forward," that could lead one to believe there are some real blockbusters yet to come from this latest report and investigation.

Agreed. The more people investigate and snoop around, the uglier it is likely to get.

So ask yourself: "Do I REALLY want to know everything that happened?" Do you have the stomach for that? If not, maybe time to turn off the TV and computer now!!

Whether you want to know or not the Feds are going to keep looking.

As horrible as this possibility is to consider, it makes sense given everything that we know to this point.

Call me crazy, but yeah, I kinda want to know if there's a child porn ring being aided and abetted by the auspicies of a public university who looked the other way.

Eh, there might well be. All of our hand-wringing isn't going to change anything. I'm not sure I actually want to know. Anymore than I want to know how a killer tortured his/her victim. Gruesome stuff like that doesn't appeal to me at all.

It'll change something if Sandusky was not the only participant and others are still at large.

I wish I could say I am suprised but I really am not. I have said in the past that I think a lot of people, players included, either knew or suspected something was going on. This is one of the reasons that the situation has angered me so much, I still have a feeling there were a lot of opportunity to stop the rapist and too many blind eyes were turned.

I would bet that at some point an ex-player will step forward and say that they wish they had done something.

The best disenfectant is light, hopefully everyone whoever kept their mouth comes forward and anyone involved in raping kids has their dick cut off and stuffed in their mouth until they choke to death.

I still think that some sort of truth and reconciliation commission would be the best course of action, but if everyone is too busy being pissed off and punching back it will never happen.

Yeah, emotions are a little raw right now on all sides and maybe it's time to take a break from the heavy stuff and chill out for a bit.

Yeah, becaue the pursuit of truth is something that people should chill out about.

If Sandusky was pimping out Second Mile kids to other pedophiles I doubt they were using the football showers for their rendezvous so I'm not sure how the players would have known about it.

My guess is that this chapter of the story will be about The Second Mile. And it raises all kinds of questions about why the AG didn't take a longer look at TSM during its investigation.

It also lends some credence to the complaints from the moonbat wing of the Penn State fanbase that this was more than a football scandal.

    What AQB said.

And some former players have made that exact comment, including LaVar Arrington.

There is a side of me thinking that keeping the lid on something that explosive, as the claims coming out today, for that many years would be near impossible, but this is the same university that went out of its way to shield a convicted pedo for more than a decade.
