As big a critic I've been of PSU, and the atmosphere surrounding the football program, I do think we need to be a little cautious about some of the accusations we might see.

Certainly, and credible accusation should be pursued. As depraved as Sandusky's crimes were, I'm going to try to remain calm regarding new accusations.

Though, I'm not going to dismiss anything out of hand at this point either.

So, yeah, the NCAA is the least of Penn State's worries.

With child sexual abuse going on for over a decade, a dead DA and millions of dollars of presumably charitable contributions involved in Second Mile activities, you can bet a number of investigative agencies are going to continue to shake these trees for a long time.

Not even mentioning the civil suits.

Having been through a few rounds with other regional accrediting bodies, I'm amazed (and many of you would be, too) at how little accreditation has to do with educational quality.

"RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively." Did a quick search. Nobody else is reporting this.

And for the record, I'm the one questioning the accepted narrative, not you.

Point is that the accepted narrative for at least 14 years was that no one knew anything about Sandusky. It was a cover-up.

That's the accepted narrative that was never questioned.

Wrong. There was a full investigation in 1998 by police and child services.

Oh, and that was right out there in the public, right? Hell, everybody knew?

And I'd hesitate to call it a "full investigation" given how badly it failed.

    Full investigations can fail too.

That doesn't necessarily apply to this situation though.
