He didn't explain it away as horseplay. He said it was described to him as horseplay. Yet again you get the facts wrong.

Given what was in the Freeh report, I'm not sure how some people can be so blind to reality.

The president of the Middle States Commission recently hired the "woman who took on Joe Paterno," Vicky Triponey. Any journalist who cares about the first amendment should have major problems with this women. Read up on her here.

So Radar Online is taboo if you're looking for a good legitimate news source (and I would generally agree), but Safeguard Old State is fine?

It looks like that site was "established with the goal in mind of protecting and advancing the student rights and traditions that were central to the campus experience of generations of Penn Staters, from students to alumni, faculty to staff, townsperson to friend of the University." Yeah, nothing but unbiased work there ...

no, those would not have been mcqueary's words, you freakin' apologist. that's shultz and curley describing what was supposedly said at the meeting.

how is this that difficult to grasp? i mean really, dude. i know you're hellbent to be a one-man-band to clear PSU's precious name, but now you're just looking idiotic:

In more than 300 pages of legal briefs, they suggest that in a meeting 10 days after the incident early in 2001, McQueary gave them the impression that the shower incident was merely "horseplay," was "not that serious," and was at worst "inappropriate."

so what's happening at UCF this week, champ?

First of all, it's not a tabloid site that quotes anonymous sources.

It is a PSU site, but I'm not asking you take everything on it as gospel. It's just a single page with a collection of information on Triponey. It links to anything of substance, mostly from the student newspapers at PSU and UConn or official documents.

I fully expect to open myself up to your defensive, juvenile form of ridicule with this, but I don't see your point here. As far as I can tell, you proved my point that he didn't "explain it away as horseplay," as you said. He said it was described to him as such.

jesus christ. they took what was described to them and explained it away as horseplay.

from what has been admitted: those two knew that a grown man was in their school's shower, lathered up, wrestling naked with a 10-year-old while grabbing the kid's genitals. so that's fucking horseplay and you are going to explain that away and or defend that shit?

this is what we know: sandusky fucked multiple little kids, and mcqueary says he saw sandusky raping a kid during that incident and reported it to those men. yet somehow, those guys explain away the report as horseplay ... the very word sandusky used to explain away need to fuck little boys ... yet somehow you find a way to explain that away.

dude, your need to explain away child rape is a little sickening.

That's not the point. They basically determine whether a university's degree is worth anything.

Penn State won't lose accreditation, but if it did, it would essentially have to be closed as its degrees would be worthless.
