First, I don't have to know you to understand what hateful and ignorant speech sounds like.

Second, I live every day of my life in terms of things I don't always agree with. And I don't need a helmet to deal with it.

I stopped subscribing to SI last year because the features -- the only thing they can offer in a 24-7 news cycle -- weren't up to snuff. I still like picking it up at the newsstand on occasion to read a Rushin back page before depositing it back, or at the barber shop while I'm getting a Boogie cut, but I won't pay for it anymore. This Jenner cover is an attention-grabber, for sure, and nothing SI hasn't done in the past. I'll wait for Deadspin to excerpt 90 percent of it in Fire Joe Morgan style before I decide to read it.

 

I am open-minded to many opinions. Opinions that aren't fueled by ignorance and hatred, at least.
