    Peter King was incredibly tone deaf. I remember he was on a preseason tour in a camper with a couple of younger SI writers. He gleefully wrote about telling one of them to drive down the bike lane to avoid a traffic jam. When his readers called him out, he pulled an Urkel. It wasn't the only time readers had to tell him how stupidly he acted.

    He wasn't a very good writer.

    Finally, he was so far up the asses of the people he covered, it was obvious to anyone who read him.

    Back when I had a mid-2000s Android "smart"phone and rode the bus to work, I always looked forward to Mondays because MMQB was always long enough to cover waiting at the stop, the entire bus ride to work, and part of the bus ride home.
