Individual text messages to other university officials are being released via FOIA at this point.

What would stop someone from obtaining this information from an active coach? Also, FFS, University of Arkansas, DO NOT ISSUE YOUR NEXT HEAD COACH A CELL PHONE. Also, for all the guys out there making $3.5 mil/yr, GET YOUR OWN CELL TO TEXT YOUR MISTRESS ON !!

You don't need sleeves on your shirts but being passive-aggressive helps.

Go ahead and get that personal cell phone, coach. Good luck explaining it to your wife, though. Because she WILL find out you have a personal cell phone.

I did that once, but it wasn't my fault. There were 2 of them and they were 18.

If I were given a choice, I would not take a university-issued cell phone. I wonder, however, whether NCAA regs etc. lead universities to requiretheir coaches to have officially issued phones for official business.

Don't a lot of SEC schools route all their purchasing and expenses through a private foundation for this exact purpose? I thought that was one issue that came to light in the Houston Nutt situation, that Arkansas was being pretty damn stupid by having these go through the athletic department in the first place.

  11. It ain't just SEC schools.
The booster groups - at WVU, the Mountaineer Athletic Club and 1100 Club - are used to supplement a lot of um amenities for coaches.
