    The girlfriend has reportedly resigned and gotten a whopping $14,000 settlement.

    That's actually kind of stunning. I figured she would have gotten six figures. If she had brought in Gloria Allred, she would have. Perhaps something happened behind the scenes that we don't know about. Maybe she did pressure Petrino into giving her the job.

    ...lots of chatter in Knoxville that Long has reached out to Phat Phil as an interim fix.

    She obviously wasn't privy to the top-notch legal opinion around here that she was a victim of horrible sexual harassment and was going to own the athletic department by the time this was over.

    When Petrino got fired I knew he'd pop up eventually.

    Would it be a violation of Payton's suspension to be interim coach at Arkansas this fall? He's not far away, has time on his hands, and clearly fits the moral parameters the school looks for in a football coach.
