Petrino lied to his boss. I don't care how many games he's won there is no fucking way on God's green Earth he keeps his job after that. If Long doesn't fire him he's effectively cut himself off at the knees.

This investigation will last just as long as it takes UA to work on its termination release. After the ham-handed way they dumped Nolan Richardson they have to at least give the appearance of giving Petrino and Dorrell (who will also be fired) their day in court.

Meanwhile, in Lubbock, Tommy Tuberville is speed dialing Jimmy Sexton.
