Only thing that could make this better would be Petrino hiring Orgeron as line coach/recruiting coordinator.

Don't know how many times this has already been posted on this thread, but here it is again:

It's a great move for Louisville. Say what you want about Petrino, but his issues have never been coaching. He's also probably damaged enough that no major program will come calling anytime soon, or if they do, it will be because they had an incredibly high level of success.

WWL running that he is expected to accept their offer.

If Franklin bolts to HV, does Vandy back up the money truck for Morris?

This guy has to be the current luckiest SOB alive. Bald faced liar many times over, zero integrity, will turn his back on you in a minute, and still continues to fall into football head coaching gigs, despite all the above.

Between Pitino and Petrino working in the same department again, I cannot imagine how hilarious their restaurant and motorcycle bullshit marathons will be.

Great, now coming to the ACC, of all people, Petrino. SEC hand me downs.

Be interesting to see if he sticks around long enough to coach a team full of his own recruits. The kids he left behind certainly didn't pan out for UL (the first time) or Arkansas.

    Pitino stayed married.
    Petrino stayed married.
And the young chippie went ahead and married her boyfriend.

And people are worried about the gheys messing up marriage...

I agree, going in to the ACC do you really want an unknown first-time coach? Petrino can coach, did well at WKU with a less talented roster. Offense was still solid and I'll think he'll kill it in Louisville?

Has he changed? Who knows? But I don't think Louisville is getting any coach for more than 4 years, so might as well go with Bobby.

And as a complete UL fanboy, I love it. Let's roll and win. Hopefully. Maybe roll was a poor choice of words.

Either way, just kick UK's ass like back in the day and have fun in the ACC.
