OK, having investigated more than my share of these types of things, my interest is piqued by two things:

    1. He received broken ribs, injured neck, and some nasty road rash on his face...and yet she received not a scratch? That tells me that maybe she wasn't ON the bike at the time of the crash. Had they pulled over in the middle of nowhere for some hanky-panky? Is that why she showed no signs of injury when she flagged down help?

    2. What's with the odd wording of the press release? Technically, he never copped to having an affair with this actual girl. What's the real story here? And why did he indicate that whoever he was screwing had been a thing in the past, as if it was already over? Covering his ass for the job placement?

And if it was her, and the relationship was indeed over, was she engaged at the time of the affair? People are assuming so, but I've seen no evidence of that.

No one really believes it was over when they got ON the bike, do they? Maybe after it rolled, sure. But there's no way they were riding just to ride.

I no longer believe it was perfectly innocent

Petrino would probably argue about that tail being anything but soft.

Yep. Cars are for friends; motorcycles are for lovers.

The young guy in the commercial who tells his mom he's engaged to bacon finds this story fascinating.
