That's what my question would be. "Coach, if you say it was a (finger quotes) Past inappropriate relationship (finger quotes), what were you doing on a Sunday night motorcycle ride with her in the hills of northern Arkansas after spending the day at the lake with your wife?"

And do we know that the young lady wasn't scraped up in the accident? I assume since Petrino wasn't wearing a helmet that he gave her his helmet to wear (no pun intended).

Maybe she wasn't still engaged at the time of this all. But if their wedding webpage thing was still up then, it's a fair assumption. If it was me, I'd be pulling that down as soon as the engagement was called off (like apparently happened last night).

 

If that photo of the motorcycle in the brush is accurate, then I'm guessing his injuries wer from slamming into the handlebars and fairing. His face was bruised, but not raw from road rash. His body cushioned the impact for her.

Petrino was long-known to be a lying scumbag douche long before Arkansas hired him. They were fine with that before hiring him, so I don't know why they should be surprised about it or pretend they have a problem with it now. Especially with another BCS game payday on the horizon.

 

For once, they're saying, "Thank God for Arkansas"

 

Interesting, maybe he tried to break it off and she followed him in her car and in a fit of rage ran him off the road.
