Petrino - not riding solo (and fired at Louisville)

  1. The note about the state police captain certainly adds an interesting element to this whole thing.

And further serves to remind Gary Pinkel that SEC coaches don't get busted for DUI.

That dude who used FOIA to track Houston Nutt's affair with the newscaster needs to get on this.

  4. I was told by a coworker who used to work the Arkansas beat that FOIA requests have been made. Only a matter of time, at this point.

State police must be out of practice on helping public figures keep it on the down low.

Hey, it's been several decades since the Clintons were around.

It could get much worse for Petrino. If the sexual relationship began while she was a student, he could face felony prosecution as a pedophile.

Arkansas has a law that students up to, I think, 25 are protected and cannot have consensual sex with teachers or professors. I'd have to read up on the law to see how it would apply in this case.

The 911 call is from someone else and they were asked not to call by the man who was bleeding badly and the woman who did not appear injured as they got out of the ditch.

  8. Could be, too. She got her masters at Arkansas in 2010, per her Arkansas bio.

So that would probably mean the people who gave them a ride to meet up with the State Police officer made the call.

  10. Very well played.

There was a thread on this board just last week about this law being struck down in Arkansas.
