His affair was as his coaching career:

Fantastic recruiter, a bit shaky on the game management.

He's at Arkansas, so he can't even say, "It's rollin'!"

If some version of the above wasn't in the Esquire women/sex issue, it should have been.

Probably better template for success than Jones telling women the suck in bed.

What I am not understanding was how Freq sized up the lady as intelligent in the kid dept of Barnes and Noble. Was she buying a copy of My Pet Goat.

I think he was saying she looked good, so the proper play is to tell her she's intelligent (tho he couldn't know that), instead of being gaga over her looks. He's a stone cold pimp.

Reading between the lines it sounds like he probably did not have time to even consider this as an option. It sounds like the car that wound up giving them a ride back towards town arrived on the scene too quick.

Also, I've spent some time in Fayetteville and the road they were on is not an out-of-the-way place. It's a two-lane state highway. While it's not heavily trafficked it isn't exactly deserted either.

EDIT: If you Google Map Petrino's home address, the intersection where Dorrell was dropped off at her car is roughly halfway between his home and the town she lives in.

Soooo.. they meet up, hop on the bike and ride in the direction of Elkins (where she lives) do whatever it is they do wherever they do it and he wrecks the bike on the way back to her car.

It's also entirely possible that they only thing they did do on this particular day was go for a ride on his motorcycle.

That side of Fayetteville is probably the least-populated part of the "metro" area. There isn't much out that way. If you were going to do something like this that's the side of town you'd choose. Plus, if he's telling his wife he's just going out for a ride he isn't going to want to be gone too long.
