I see where the AD is at the athletic complex today and said he will be there working on Easter Sunday as he continues to "review" the situation.

If they are waiting for it all to blow over and go away quietly, they are putting in an awful lot of hours and seem awful eager to get a quick conclusion ...

 

I'll repeat what I said a couple of pages ago:

They aren't going to fire him because he had an affair.

They're going to fire him because he LIED TO HIS BOSS AND PUT THE UNIVERSITY IN THE POSITION OF APPEARING TO LIE TO THE PUBLIC. Even in the SEC that will get you fired.

If Ohio State can fire Jim Tressel for lying after winning a national title and kicking the ever-loving shit out of Michigan on a yearly basis Arkansas can sure as shit fire Bobby Petrino.

 

Not buying it. You're talking about everyday folks in broken marriages who need some sparkle in their lives.

When high-profile people in power do this, it's because they're intoxicated by the power and need more. It has nothing to do with sad married folks who can't get good love at home.

 

Given that their former Governor and future POTUS lied and nothing happened, it seems like the good people of Arkansas are forgiving of this type of thing.
