It's tough sharing a life with someone. The most important thing that I've learned is that all relationships began as friendships. I've tried to leave them the way we began but I have to admit, it hasn't always happened like that.

I find that last part hard to believe, as you're always so lovable around here.

Sometimes you just need to slip out the back door.

Back to Petrino, I'm related, by marriage, to the state police captain involved in the accident.

Boom, I'm three times seven and then some more. What part of what I said is shit? I'd love for you to explain it to me.

    Always the wife's fault. Always.

I can better this. I dated a girl in college for a year and a half, loved her madly, thought for sure I was going to marry her. Was easily my best friend. She decided, almost out of the blue, that she was having some doubts about the relationship. After an agonizing six weeks of "time apart" and phone calls that went unanswered for several days, I mercy killed the relationship.

Three months later, she was engaged to Bobby Petrino's cousin. As far as I know, he did not have a motorcycle. He didn't need one, I guess.

I'm pretty sure the Petrino family must stuff copies of Neal Strauss' "The Game" into each other's stockings at Christmas.
